Carl Niehaus arrested at Estcourt while interviewed live on SABC

Jacob Zuma stalwart ally Carl Niehaus had a dramatic fall from grace this week with the ruling ANC National Executive Committee (#NEC) decision to suspend the 42 year member of the political party, the incarceration of his benefactor Jacob Zuma and the final insult, being arrested while the state broadcaster was interviewing him live on television.

In a move straight out of the US Department of Justice playbook ,the police made a show of the arrest, with zero provocation or threat from Niehaus.  His live arrest is an intentional plan to destroy Zuma allies and may very well be the first blow in a coming orchestrated campaign to allow the Ramaphosa faction to gain the upper hand over the Zuma faction within the ruling ANC.
